Forget Bag in Box, Wine Pouches are the Next Big Thing

Bijou is excited to announce our latest addition to the range: Wine Pouches.

Wine pouches, sometimes referred to as "Bagnums" are 1.5L pouches made from lightweight materials making them very easily transportable. This makes them great for outdoor events such as picnics, festivals and barbecues. These wine pouches are the same size as a Magnum bottle and made for sharing with friends. Bijou have 2 wine pouches currently available:

Bijou Le Chic and Pink Sands.

Both wines in the pouches are pale, dry, rosé wines from the Languedoc in the South of France. Bijou Le Chic is made from 100% Grenache grapes whereas Pink Sands is a blend of Grenache and Cinsault. The grapes are sourced from vineyards in the foothills of the black mountains. Sourcing from these cooler regions means that we have a good fruit/acidity balance. Both wine pouches are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

These pouches are also the perfect solution for bars and restaurants that offer wines by the glass. Pink Sands and Bijou Le Chic keep the wine fresh for over a month after opening and maximise fridge space.
