ESG & Corporate Responsibility Statement
At Bijou, our passion for producing authentic, award-winning wines from the undiscovered terroirs of Southern France goes hand in hand with a responsibility to our planet, our partner growers and our global community.
We believe that exceptional winemaking requires long-term stewardship. Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework guides how we operate across every stage of production.
Environmental Stewardship
We collaborate closely with dedicated local growers across Languedoc and Provence who share our commitment to biodiversity and sustainable agriculture.
- Sustainable Viticulture: Over 95% of our wines are sustainably farmed, certified HVE Level 3 (Haute Valeur Environnementale) or Organic. We support vineyard management practices that preserve soil health, minimise chemical intervention, protect local ecosystems and build climate resilience by focusing on enhancing biodiversity.
- Innovative Packaging: Pioneering low-carbon footprint packaging formats – including the world’s first 410g lightweight flute bottle, recyclable cans and wine pouch solutions – to significantly reduce logistics emissions.
- Resource Management: Continually seeking efficiencies across our supply chain to reduce water consumption, optimise freight transportation and minimise waste generation.
Social Responsibility & Community
People are at the heart of Bijou. From the generations of families cultivating our partner vineyards in Southern France to our international team and wine lovers worldwide, we foster fair, safe and inclusive environments.
- Support for Independent Growers: Building enduring, transparent partnerships with local French grape growers, ensuring fair commercial terms and supporting rural wine communities.
- Inclusivity & Diversity: Promoting diversity, equal opportunities and fair representation across all levels of our business and industry.
- Consumer Awareness & Responsible Drinking: Championing responsible alcohol consumption and providing transparent product information.
Governance & Ethical Conduct
Bijou operates under strict standards of business integrity, compliance and transparency across all regional and international operations.
Modern Slavery & Human Rights
Bijou maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labor and child labor in any part of our business or supply chain.
- We adhere to the spirit and requirements of the Modern Slavery Act.
- We conduct due diligence across our growers, bottlers and packaging suppliers to ensure safe working conditions, fair pay, and basic human rights.
Anti-Bribery & Corruption

- Bijou strictly prohibits any form of bribery, extortion, or corrupt practices among employees, agents, or trading partners.
- All commercial dealings are conducted with honesty, legal compliance and fairness.
