We’ve recently received another great write up from Hubrecht Duijker for Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose.
‘A relatively small wine small area (300 to 350 hectares) within the vast Languedoc is Cabrières where the soil is of volcanic origin and where a good cooperative At (Small) shots. It is on this company from selected grapes from the region was made a nice rosé, Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose. They chose this Cinsault half, with 40 percent grenache and syrah leftover. We smell and taste drip fruits like pear and orange, along with pietsjes herbs and spices, all in a friendly setting fresh (cool so good).’
