Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose Rouge, Cabrières
A rich, dusky, 14 per cent alcohol. Back pepper and garrlgue herb-scented, barbecue-loving red from a little-known Languedoc appellation. Mostly Syrah, but topped up with a good dollop of Grenache.
