Jolie Terre de Providence rosé will be available in the UK very soon.
The wine is an exquisite blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah and comes from the heart of the Languedoc in the South of France. The grapes are sourced from a region high in volcanic soil, which gives the pale, dry, rosé wine a hint of minerality which contributes to its complexity.
The grapes are harvested during the early hours of the morning which helps retain freshness and prohibits premature fermentation. The grapes are gently crushed and the juice undergoes a very short maceration on the skins in order to extract very little colour from the skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks so to preserve the natural fruit characteristics of the grapes.
The resulting rosé wine is beautifully pale in colour with notes of red berry fruits, citrus and a subtle floral character. Jolie Terre de Providence is vegan friendly and will not only keep, but improve over the next 2-3 years.
Online retailer Slurp will make Jolie Terre de Providence available throughout the country from June 2019.
