The idea behind the Sophie Valrose range stems from a local legend in the Languedoc-Roussillon that recounted a female vineyard worker that lobbied and fought for better conditions and wages for women in the wine industry who were being exploited by the wealthier landowners.
Our Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose rosé comes from the unique and interesting region of Coteaux de Béziers in the Languedoc and we have a red and white wine that go with this rosé to form a range.
