Pale rosé wine has been a soaring trend over the past couple of years, with it being seen everywhere from the glitz and glamour aboard the cruise ships mooring up on the Côte d’Azur, to chic wine bars found in London’s Soho. Celebrities are really backing this trend with the likes of Drew Barrymore, John Legend and even Bon Jovi launching their own brands of pale rosé to keep up with the rising trend. But it’s not just the celebrities that have switched to the pink stuff – buyers, customers and critics alike are now treating rosé a lot more seriously.
Bijou’s two lead rosés – Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose and Bijou Ciel de Lilac are completely en vogue with a pale style that is bursting with red fruit flavours. Sales of Bijou’s rosé have been growing at a staggering rate and not only in the UK where the Indian summer played a big part in the rising consumption of rosé. We currently export our wines to Europe, the USA and Australia to name just a few and Bijou is even in Singapore Airlines’ first class lounges.
