PROVENCE

Triassic clay-limestone

The grapes are sourced from the plateau of La Roquebrussanne located at an altitude of 360 meters, dominated by the Sainte Baume mountain range and supported by the Loube mountain. On this terroir of the Centre Var where moderate temperatures combine with a ventilated microclimate, the vines have the privilege of bathing in a healthy environment, favorable to the quality of the grapes. These conditions allow the vineyard to be managed in organic agriculture.

A combination of machine harvesting and handpicking to preserve the freshness of the grapes in the early hours of the morning and achieve a wonderfully pale shade of salmon pink. Pellicular maceration is followed by direct pressing and static settling. Temperature controlled fermentation takes place at 16/18°C. Then, the wine is shortly aged and fined prior bottling.

The nose is complex with intriguing notes of peaches and redcurrant. This flavours carry on to balance a long finish.

It is a perfect wine for al fresco dining. It will be the ideal partner for salads and summer grills.

“Everyone wants a ‘bijou’, a tiny pink pearl. This wine is an excellent expression of a pretty, aromatic rosé from the South of France. Pale peach in hue, the wine shows raspberry, strawberry and white cherry fruit with a creamy underlying note. Just dry, the palate is light and elegant, underpinned by lively acidity and a hint of white pepper spice supporting the juicy fruit. An excellent wine for summer, it works nicely with asparagus wrapped in parma ham or sautéed white mushrooms.”
