This month Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose has been featured massively on the national media stage. We are thrilled that critics recognize and enjoy our qualitative wines that champion sustainability and women in wine.
On the popular BBC Television show Saturday Kitchen (17/06/23), TV presenter and wine critic Olly Smith had great things to say about Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose; “a lovely blend. You have got Caladoc in there, Syrah, a bit of Cinsault and Grenache, it’s full of flavour.”
While Theo Randall Michelin star chef and fellow presenter commented on how well this beautifully pale rosé pairs with food. “With the wine, it is absolutely brilliant!” The special guests and other presenters also said Bijou was “summer in a glass, so good.” and “pairs perfectly with the food.”
On Sunday (18/06/23), renowned wine critic and writer Will Lyons named us one of the best value rosés to enjoy this summer in The Sunday Times magazine. Again, Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose took centre stage with this accolade; “Here’s a summer bargain packed with light red fruit that finished with flickering acidity.”
Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose has recently won a Gold Medal and the Global Wine Masters Awards, it is fantastic to see so many well-respected experts appreciate our wine. We are incredibly proud of our team for bringing such a highly regarded wine from grape to glass, providing a perfect accompaniment to summer for our consumers.
